Awesome Music Lesson cost/policies; Half hour sessions are $20.00 each. 50 minute sessions are $35.00 each if customers pay for 4 or more lessons at a time. All lessons are the same cost no matter which instrument you are learning. Lessons are due to be paid for on your first lesson of the month. If you wish to continue you are requested to pay for the next month’s sessions, this secures that time slot for you. If you elect not to pay when your lessons are due or indicate that you will pay next week, your time slot is considered OPEN and can be booked by anyone wishing to pay for that time slot. If you know you are going to miss a lesson time we request a 24 hour notice to reschedule a makeup lesson before your next regularly scheduled lesson. You will lose your paid lesson if you call the day of your lesson OR do not show up or don’t call to set up a make up lesson prior to your next scheduled lesson time. If you cancel what your teacher decides is an extraordinary amount of lessons in a resonable time frame you will lose the right to schedule make up lessons. This in no way commits Awesome Music to any obligation but is a brief description of our Lesson Cost and Policies in their most simple form. Mr Anthony Perkins is one of our multi-instrumental instructors. He teaches, Guitar, Bass, Mandoilin, and Piano. He performs with the Todd Allen Band and is enrolled in the Music Education Program at Florida State University, he aleady has a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes him a very valuable and capable teacher here at Awesome Music for the past 3 years. Mr Tom Buller, teaches voice, piano, and all school band instrumentsMr Tom Buller is our Voice and Band Instrument Teacher., he also taeches Piano/Keyboards. Tom has a Bachelor Of Arts degree and had worked as a High School band director for 25+ years and High School Chorus for 14 years and Middle School Chorus for 5 years. He teaches Voice, Piano, Brass, Woodwinds, and Percussion at our store, he has been teaching at our facitity for about 6 years. I know that he has more than a couple of students that made the All State Band this year and the previous years, so he really knows his stuff. Beatriz Roth teaches Piano/Keyboards and Flute. Need A GREAT flute teacher? This is Beatriz Roth she not only teaches flute but is excellent on the piano, too! She taught in Germany and in her native Havana, Cuba as well. She earned a Bachelor Of Arts with a 4.0 average! Beatriz also performed in a large number of musical groups and in church services. Bernie Cook is one of our Piano instructorsMr Bernie Cook is one of our talented Piano/Keyboard Instructors. Originally from the Lansing, Michigan area. Married with 5 children and 13 grandchildren. He has been playing some form of musical instrument for over 4 decades performing in various capacities throughout the US , Canada, and the Gulf area. Currently playing for The Todd Allen Band and also The First Church Of The Nazarene here in Panama City. We are proud to have him and his playing abilities. For lesson time contact the store. He is the most advanced Piano/Keyboard instructor at the store, so if you’re an advanced player or have been playing or taking lessons for years and need advanced training, Mr Bernie is the instructor for you. Dr Larry Tyson, Bowed Strings
Dr Larry Tyson is teaching beginning and advanced bowed strings, i.e., violin, viola, cello, double bass. He has many years of experience performing and teaching and is currently also with the Bay County School System. He is the Minister Of Music at Gulf Beach Presbyterian Church on Hwy 79. We are blessed to have him on board to share his knowledge and talent with our Awesome students. - Mr Keith Unger is our Percussion Instructor and specialist!
Mr Keith Unger has joined our team of professional instructors!! We are SO EXCITED to have him here! He has taught both Middle School and High School Band for over 26 years and can play just about anything that you put in his hands but his love is the drums. He has been playing professionally for over 60 years and had earned a Bachelors degree in Music and a Masters Degree in Education, both from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
